Brushing up on the fundamentals
Since working as a mechanical engineer, I've learnt a lot of new things, and also solidified some of the skills I learnt in university. However, there are a number of areas that I haven't revisited since then, and I think now that I have a bit more of a determined approach to learning than I did in university, it is a perfect time for me to go back and brush up on some things I may have forgotten, and hopefully learn some new things too!
I aim to pick a problem or area of a topic and do a bit of a write up on it in a kind of teaching format. I doubt that it will be much use to anyone visiting here, as you the reader probably either already know about the topic I am reviewing, or are not very interested in what a lot of people will see as a boring topic. However, as they say, the best way to learn is to teach! So watch this space...
